There are three (3) awards for this category. They are awarded to individuals or teams meeting specific criteria. Employees nominate their co-workers.
Leadership Award
This award recognizes the highest level of accomplishment and achievement in one’s role at Prairie.
Prairie St. John’s values its employees’ commitment to continued employment at Prairie and their efforts in carrying out our Mission. We are pleased to provide our employees with a Years of Service Recognition Program that rewards years of service employment milestones with Prairie.
Prairie recognizes milestones for years of service and provides each employee upon reaching the milestone, a one time addition of Earned Time (paid accrual time to apply towards vacation, sick, personal time, etc.). The ET is applied according to a schedule beginning with 1 year and continuing with 3 years, 5 years, 7 years and so on. PRN status employees are also eligible to receive a one time dollar amount instead of ET.
Happy Grams are a wonderful opportunity for employees to recognize and extend to a co-worker a special note when observing that co-worker “going above and beyond.” Employees receive the Happy Gram along with a bag of Chocolate Chippers.
In appreciation of our staff, Prairie provides a catered meal every other month.
Each month of the year Prairie recognizes a different job class. I.e. National Healthcare Environment Services Week, National Administrative Assistance Day, National Nurses Day. We make sure everybody is recognized throughout the year.
We recognize our employees are key to our success. We celebrate all week with different employee activities, “Something Sweet” days and “Something Salty” days, employee gift and opportunities to win door prizes.
A celebration and recognition time of the past year. Enjoy a delightful evening with fine food and great entertainment, inspiring messages from our CEO and others.
Departments come together during the holiday season to host potlucks. A time to celebrate the season and take a break to enjoy mingling with your co-workers.
