Kim is a Licensed Addiction Counselor who has experience working with adults, adolescents and families. Her current clinical focus is primarily with the Adult Dually Diagnosed Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Prairie. Kim believes that recovering from addiction is a lifelong process and that in order to achieve a successful recovery a person must work on the spiritual, emotional and physical aspects of the recovery journey and learn to make new and better choices in life.
Kim has over 10 years of experience working with people
suffering from chemical addictions. She is a native of
Ohio and has been at Prairie St. John’s since 2004. She is
dedicated to helping patients create better lives for
themselves through the development of improved coping
skills and participation in support groups, individual, group
and family counseling. She plans to continue her education
and eventually become a Clinical Supervisor so that
she can teach and mentor others who share a passion for
Addiction Counseling.
